Tommy
Puppies

Puppies

Aww...

Since last December, the fence at the back of my house had a big hole because the great escapist, Tommy - my dog, had once again successfully broken out. For many times, my brother and I had fixed the fences and tried our best to lay the fence with unwanted wooden planks and all. But Alas, Tommy had outwitted us again.

January, a pack of stray dogs have been entering our house compound using the hole. Let me introduce them to you -
  1. Tiger, male, brown with patches of bald (botak) spots, suffering from some sort of skin disease and smells really bad, love to sleep at the front porch and had destroyed my 3 precious pairs of slippers.
  2. Mandy, female, dark brown with some black fur on top, just gave birth and currently, Tommy's best friend.
  3. Ah Wu, female, black in colour, hence the name.

4 days ago, Mandy came into the house with a very bad wound on top of her head near the neck area. It seemed like she was bitten by another dog and there's now a big hole on top of her head. She kept shaking her head cause flies have been to surrounding the area because they smell blood.

3 days ago, my brother discovered maggots in the 'hole' and whenever she shakes her head, blood droplets splattered on the floor. We wanted to bring the stray to the vet but she disappeared before we could catch her and till now, she was never found. (We suspect that it has passed away... sob sob...)

2 days ago (Friday), two puppies came in from our backyard. We think it's Mandy's children. Both girls. My mother brought them into the house. By the time I got home that evening, I found my living room filled with 'bombs' and puddles of yellowish liquid.

Now, comes the big question: What should we do with the puppies?

Signing off,

Ms. Yong S.L.
