Mandy in the cage
In the house, we (Uncle Joseph, my brother and myself) kept Mandy surrounded. She was struggling quite a bit and was hiding underneath the sofa. Then, we managed to corner in on her. My brother managed to put a loop round her neck and finally, we got her. Meanwhile, Tommy was howling madly outside as he picked up the fear in Mandy. It was an intense experience, Uncle had to drag Mandy out of the house using a stick to prevent her from biting. Finally, he put her into a cage he had at the back of his truck. All this time, I was praying that Mandy stops sturggling and let us help her but I guess she was too afraid to.4 days ago, Mandy came into the house with a very bad wound on top of her head near the neck area. It seemed like she was bitten by another dog and there's now a big hole on top of her head. She kept shaking her head cause flies have been to surrounding the area because they smell blood.
3 days ago, my brother discovered maggots in the 'hole' and whenever she shakes her head, blood droplets splattered on the floor. We wanted to bring the stray to the vet but she disappeared before we could catch her and till now, she was never found. (We suspect that it has passed away... sob sob...)
2 days ago (Friday), two puppies came in from our backyard. We think it's Mandy's children. Both girls. My mother brought them into the house. By the time I got home that evening, I found my living room filled with 'bombs' and puddles of yellowish liquid.
Now, comes the big question: What should we do with the puppies?
